A mattress lifting mechanism can be used – special set.
You have to purchase a bed slat with the corresponding dimensions if you choose the two-sided mattress option.

The Medeya bed stands out with its functionality – it is the perfect choice for your bedroom. The bed is constructed for one-sided and two-sided mattresses and you have to purchase a bed slat with the corresponding dimensions if you choose the two-sided mattress option. The bed slat will ensure natural ventilation of the mattress, necessary to maintain good hygiene. We also suggest purchasing a set of lifting mechanism and an MDF bunkie board so that you can use the additional space under the mattress. All used materials are certified and safe for human health. The bed is delivered in sturdy and easy-to-carry packaging with easy-to-follow installation instructions. All connecting elements are included in the package.
